Here is how you can support BlueTone Festival, a courageous new four-day event taking place in Taunton’s Vivary Park at the end of May. The unique combination of jazz, blues, funk and soul will be the first powerful alignment of such music in the town, featuring Ruby Turner, The Brand New Heavies, Curtis Stigers, Courtney Pine CBE and more.

The four days will be just the beginning. BlueTone is designed to become a long-term feature in Taunton, using proceeds generated by this Community Interest Company to support local artists and performers — opening doors, creating opportunity, and giving real momentum to our creative community.

BlueTone is built on five core pillars:

• Community First — collaboration with local groups and support for grassroots artists
• Access and Inclusion — ensuring live music is accessible to a wide audience
• Cultural Excellence — presenting world-class artists alongside local talent
• Economic Uplift — supporting hospitality, retail and tourism
• Long-term Impact — reinvesting in future festivals, education and local creative work

There has been tremendous interest so far, with an energetic start to ticket sales. Advance tickets for the full festival are currently £109, rising to £119 in mid-May, with nearly 30 acts across the weekend offering exceptional value for money.

As with any new festival, there is a delicate balance between the cost of creating something of quality and the time it takes to build an audience.

We are therefore asking whether you might consider playing a part in helping make this venture happen, and in supporting its future for years ahead.
