The festival runs from Thursday 28th – Sunday 31st May 2026 in Vivary Park, Taunton.

On the Thursday and Friday the gates will open at 5.00pm with the arena opening shortly after. Music will then continue until 10.30pm, the public must leave the festival by 11.00pm each night.

On the Saturday and Sunday things will start earlier at 11.30am and run through until 10.30pm on Saturday night and 9.30pm on Sunday night. The Park will close 30 minutes after the finishing time.

Are children allowed at the festival?

BlueTone Festival is open to everyone. Under 18s need to be accompanied by an adult. There are half price tickets available for under 16 year olds and if you are under 10 then you can get in for free.

Child tickets can only be bought with an accompany adult ticket – if you need to add on some extra tickets after your initial order then please contact the team at [email protected]

Can I re-enter the festival?

All attendees will be given wristbands to allow re-entry into the festival. Make sure you look after your wristband as replacements will not be issued.

Bag checks will be conducted at the festival – and your bag will need to be re-checked on re-entry.

If I buy a festival pass - can different people use it each day?

No – a festival pass can only be used by one person. Any attempt to tamper with the festival wristband will result in refusal of entry to the festival site.

Will there be food and drink available at the festival?

Yes – we are planning to have a wide variety of high-quality food vendors at the festival along with a festival bar serving alcohol and soft drinks.

Will there be a VIP option available?

There is not VIP area at the 2026 festival – check back for future years!

Can I bring food into the festival?

We would rather you buy food from our onsite vendors – but understand if you have particular food requirements or want to bring some snacks for the kids.

Please note that only small bags will be allowed into the festival due to security and bag check procedures now required by law. Please don’t try and bring large food hampers in to the festival as they will not be allowed.

Can I bring my own drink into the festival?

If it is water and in a plastic bottle then yes. Any glass or metal containers will not be allowed into the festival site. Alcohol not purchased at the festival is not allowed on site due to licensing restrictions.

Will there be seating? Can I bring a chair?

Seating is not provided at the festival – however you are welcome to bring a folding camping style chair. Please note that in busy periods the festival stewards may ask you move your chair to a designated seated area and that this area may be limited depending on crowd size.

If you have and specific mobility needs then please be sure to contact the team at [email protected]

What about carers and wheelchairs?

If you need to be accompanied by a carer at the festival please get in touch with the team at [email protected]. We will need to see accreditation for your carer but once we have done so we are happy to provide a complimentary pass for them.

Likewise – if you would like a wheelchair space at the festival, please contact the team at [email protected] – we recommend you book your space well in advance so we can accommodate your needs. Spaces are allocated on a first come first serve basis. There is an accessible viewing platform at the festival and disabled toilets. Vivary Park offers clear level access suitable for wheelchair use and there are no steps.

Where can I stay? Can I camp at the festival?

The festival site, Vivary Park, is right in the middle of Taunton – so there is no space to camp right next to the festival, but there are some campsites in the town. Cornish Farm Touring Park is closest to the festival, Tanpits Cider Farm is further away but is probably easier in terms of bus routes.

There are a whole bunch of campsites surrounding Taunton and two park and ride facilities in the town – there are also two large multi-storey car parks near Vivary Park itself. There are also various hotels in the town.

Can I bring my dog?

Well behaved dogs are welcome at the festival, but inline with Park regulations need to be kept on a lead at all times. There is plenty of space in the Park, but make sure your dog is used to crowds and loud noise.

How do I get to the festival? Where can I park?

The postcode for the main gates of Vivary Park is TA1 3SX

There is no parking at the festival site, there is pedestrian access only from the main High Street gates of Vivary Park or through Wilton Lands.

If you are driving there are various car parks close to Vivary Park:

Orchard Street Multi Storey Car Park, Paul St, Taunton TA1 3PF
High Street Car Park, Old Pig Market, Taunton TA1 3PJ
Crescent Car Park, The Crescent, Taunton TA1 4ED

Slightly further away:
Canon Street Car Park, Canon St, Taunton TA1 1SW

Somerset Council have kindly agreed to keep the Orchard Street and High Street Car Parks open to 12 midnight.

We do not recommend you use the park and ride service if you are attending the festival in the evening they close at 11pm and require you to get a public bus service in the evening.

Vivary Park is around a 5 minute walk from the central bus stops and a 20 minute walk from the station if you are travelling by public transport.
